I was blogging about SQL-Plan-Management, when I ran into the pitfalls of my old layout. It was too small to display execution plans. I tried to change the stylesheet, but the theme author had created a somewhat weird and complex structure with many strange dependencies. A simple IDS
As I wrote in my post “New beginning” I need to track changes made to files on my webserver. When “Shiraz” hacked my site, it wasn’t too hard to analyse what they did to display their own content on my blog. A simple search for “Shiraz” in all files on the webserver reported a file that belonged to the installed and active wordpress theme. New beginning
The last few month I haven’t published even a single post to this blog. When I revisited my blog after a while I was quite surprised to see it “hacked by ShiRaz09″. A strangely designed page with arabic letters (maybe some important phrases, but who knows? Can’t read them..) and arabic music as well appeared in my browser when I opened my blog.
